Fuck. You need to believe me when I say this looked a lot better in real life. I fail @ scanning paintings in two piece and fixing the contrast.

I love Joe Hisaishi, the guy who does music for Hayao Miyazaki's movies. I love his music so much it always brings me to the brink of my feelings every time I listen to it. I happened to stumble upon his piece Path of the wind (Or Kaze no toorimichi) for the first time in a while and got a sudden burst of inspiration. I just HAD to dig out my old water colours (well, actually gouache colours) and start working. I'm not much of a traditional artist but it's strangely soothing to work with paint every once in a while.

So yeah, It'd work a lot better if you cranked up some Hisaishi. It's some random characters in a forest. Just wanted to paint what the song brought in my mind.

Fuck, seriously. That scanning job looks awful. The contrast was all fucked up and I'm no good at this kind of technology so I had to fix it up manually, pretty much screwing it up. I'd take a god damn photo with my camera if that wasn't a piece of crap too. Just pretend it's decent.
